after B.Sc. Agriculture?
Guys as we know agriculture Educational Degree is also
a Professional degree like medical and like medical the agricultural graduates
were known as plant doctors. So in this beautiful four year degree course you
will learnt about many course starting from Agronomy to Economics which will be
helpful in many fields. So here are the opportunities after completing your
degree.
1)
Higher Studies:
students who are interested in research and want to join M.Sc can get
admission through ICAR – All India Entrance Exam for Admission (AIEEA) and
State entrance examination conducted by State Agriculture Universities.
2)
Management courses: if you’re interested in management you can
prepare for CAT, XAT and through exams to join for MBA agribusiness, Post
Graduate Programme in Agribusiness management (PGP-ABM) from top institute.
3)
Public Sector Jobs: if you want join any public sector under
Central government like FCI, Central Ware House Corporation, National Seed
Corporation etc. and in State you can join state agricultural and allied
department.
4)
Private Sector Jobs: you can join seed, fertilizer, pesticides,
private consultancy services, finance companies, breeding companies etc. good opportunities
were available in these industries.
5)
Bank Jobs: you can join public, private banks and especially
there were scope in NABARD. In banks you can join as AFO (Agriculture Field
Officer) in NABARD you can join as consultant.
6)
Civil services: If you are interested in union and state
civil services you can take agriculture as optional subject for mains exams.
B.Sc agriculture is good base for civil services.

Business /Entrepreneurship: For agriculture graduates NABARD is giving loans
& subsidies for setting up AC - ABC (Agri- Clinics and Agri- Business Centers)
and from other banks also you can easily get loans for setting up your own
business.
